Description :
This C&C 40 tall mast / Deep keel was maintained with utmost care by the owner. Numerous upgrades since acquiring the boat. This boat is in very good condition structurally and mechanically, and features many systems upgrades. C&C built strong boats in this time frame, with a wide design margin. The C&C40 is a delight to daysail, as a weekender, and has demonstrated blue water capability. As a fast cruiser this is a great boat at a very affordable price. She has had the same owner since 1988, and has not been raced since 1995 with the exception of two Around Long Island Races. The rest of the time was all cruising and maintenance. This means that a very complete Sail inventory is included with the boat. Owner wants to upgrade to a larger boat, a decision postponed since 1998 when it became clear that selling the boat would be a sad event.
