This sailing catamaran is a proven design and the best selling cruising catamaran in the US. It has the best combination of features and performance: spacious interior, expansive deck and cockpit, level-sailing, fast – and fits in a 35 foot berth. This boat has been owned by the same family since new and continually upgraded. A brand new stainless dinghy davit, stern seat and boarding platform are the latest addition.

The boat features comfortable sleeping accommodations for six in three separate staterooms and a cavernous main salon in the center. To starboard is a full galley with range, broiler and oven, twin sink and lots of storage. Port aft is a twin stateroom with a master stateroom forward. Amidships are the Dometic refrigerator (120v. and LPG), radios and electrical panel. To port is another aft guest stateroom, chart table and head forward. The head features a marine toilet with 18 gallon holding tank and LPG instant-hot water heater.

Above deck are the cockpit and helm with full wind instruments, digital depth and speed, CPT autopilot and new Garmin Color GPS-Map 172c with full charts for the west coast. The stereo has Bose speakers below and weather proof speakers in the cockpit. All control lines are accessible from the helm except the port jib sheet allowing easy single handling while the guests relax in the wrap around cockpit. A favorite location for relaxing, we find the cockpit and bench easily seats 10 plus the captain. The new bench incorporated into the stainless davits is also a favorite location to experience the ride. The davits easily hold a 10 foot RIB hard bottom dinghy (not included) with its motor attached. There is included a retractable motor bracket on the port hull in order to use the dinghy engine as an alternative to the primary engine. The primary engine is a 2002 Mercury 4-stroke BigFoot with power tilt that is operated from the helm. This outboard provides excellent fuel economy, ease of maintenance and zero drag when sailing. At cruising speed it burns less than 1 gallon per hour which combined with the dual 12 gallon fuel tanks gives a 24 hour range of approximately 130 miles. The fuel is selected by an electronic valve controlled at the helm.

Safely stowed in a vented cockpit locker are two 20 pound capacity, aluminum propane tanks. There are 3 high capacity batteries in the aft locker and those are charged by an electronic 3 stage charger running off the shore power cord. Below the two aft stateroom beds are the two 25 gallon fresh water tanks. .The fresh water system includes pressure pump and reservoir supplying the shower/sink in the head, twin sink in galley, the gas water heater and a transom shower. There is also a deck salt water pressure pump for washing the fore deck and anchor with a convenient self coiled hose.

The sails include a primary 130% Genoa on a furling drum. Added headsails include a storm Jib and 150% Drifter. The primary Genoa and Main were replaced in 2005. All standing rigging has been inspected and the lifelines are brand new with the davit system.

Other recent improvements include new Sunbrella brand upholstery and foam for the three staterooms and salon. The headliner and carpet was also replaced at that time. All electrical systems, valves and hoses were tested and renewed as necessary.

In summary, this is a well maintained and extremely reliable boat that provides the owner with a great sailing experience and the best lounge afloat when at anchor. Your guests will relax while their refreshments and belongings stay in place without assistance when the boat tacks through an imperceptible heal. The retracting centerboards and rudders provide the ability to access anchorages with less than 2 feet of draft. If you’re a first time cruiser or experienced sailor, there are few boats that combine the efficiency and value that is found in this design.
