Description: Beyond length and beamwidth, I have little by way of specifications. However, if you are familiar with the Capri 14, it is patterned after that boat but is slightly larger at 15'6" length and 6'4" beamwith. Also, the ratio of sail area to water line is a bit larger, giving it somewhat better performance. But the boat is not tender. It is in remarkable shape considering it's age. Perhaps because it has always been sheltered (garaged) when not in service. Also we have never taken it out of the water without washing it down thoroughly. Comes with a whiskerpole for running with the wind. The trailer is relatively new and is in good shape. Has Buddy Wheel Bearings and water- proof lights. The hull is red, made of fiberglass. It's the best thing that ever happened to me and my family. |
