Description: 1981 58ft Somerset Houseboat has a hull of constructed of 3/16th welded aluminum plate. The decks consist of of welded aluminum plate. Interior decking consist of plywood over aluminum plates. The super structure construction is constructed of fiberflass panels and aluminum uprights. The bottom of the hull is covered with an epoxy coating. The vessel is equiped with 2 automatic electric bilge pumps, the engine space has a venilation system consisting of 1 electric blower. The vessel runs from the power of (2) 260 hp Mercruiser engines. The engines have approx 465 hr on them. The transmission has 2002 Mercruiser Alpha Drives standard gearing 1:48:1. The electrical system runs off of 3 batteries that are charged with a 30 amp charger serving all 3 batteries. The vessel is equipped with an Onan 9.0K generator that will power the vessel when away from shore. The vessel at the shore runs off of 50amps. The vessel is equipped with 2 fuel tanks each hold 50 gallons of gas. There are 2 fresh water holding tanks for a total capacity of 160 gallons. The vessel is equipped with a 80 gallon holding tank. Water is heated with a 5 gallon continuous heat water heater. The vessel is equipped with the following electronics VHF Radio, Lowrance digital depth finder, Stereo AM/FM Cassette player with roof mounted speakers The galley has a full size fridge, 3 burner stove with Broiler Oven. The vessel is cooled with 2 carrier 13,500 air conditioners. The front air is approx 1 month old as of August 1st, 2008 and the rear air was installed in August 2007. This vessel was surveyed in July of 2004 and it valued at $70,000. This is a great liveaboard vessel.
