Description: Immaculate 2000 Premium 28 12-PACK with Volvo D6 Diesel
This boat was extensively overhauled in June 2008 (approx 1300 hours ago). It received a new bright yellow paint job (May 2008), new custom seats and canvas including new helm cover and T-Top Cover (April 2009), complete new hydraulics including pump, valve, motor, clutch, heat exchanger, slip-yoke, hoses, and cables. The winch was totally rebuilt with bearings, sprockets, chain, brand new line-follower, top end, winder bar and pawl this August, and ), all new safety gear including Fireboy, Engine Shutdown System, EPIRB, Fire Extinguishers, Flares, and First Aid Kit in June 2008. There is much more but it is just way too much to list. Please ask me about anything and I will find out when I replaced it. I basically had the boat stripped down to the bare hull and replaced everything in the boat at this time. Every wire, cable, light, bilge pump or electrical harness, switch, brass fitting or bolt was gone through. The electrical panel was completely rebuilt with new Panel-tronics components. Nothing was missed.
The engine package that is going with the boat had the same warranty, which just expired in June of this year based on lapsed time. Until then, everything has been covered by Volvo, including the new turbo and other parts it has recently received. This boat and engine package have been maintained to the highest standards. I have owned about ten Volvo Penta Diesel packages in parasail boats, have put over 25,000 hours on my boats, and have never blown an engine. These things will last for a very long time if properly maintained. I have put as many as 6,200 hours on a single volvo diesel engine without any major overhaul before I sold it (that one now has over 8,500 hours on it and is still being used in a fishing boat in Alaska to this day). This transom assembly just got a new gimble in November of 2008. Since it left warranty, I put a new shift actuator on it, all new steering hoses and trim lines, a new exhaust down-pipe, and alternator, and fuel injection lines as well as a couple of other odds and ends (almost all of these things were replaced preventatively)…and lets not forget, I just put a new drive on it about 300 hours ago. You will not be disappointed in this boat or its engine. It is truly one of the cleanest used engines and one of the nicest used parasail boats you will ever see. I am asking 75,000 (a bargain considering that I got 88,000 a year ago for my 1999 12-pack premium that wasn’t even close to the boat that this is). I am purchasing a new boat this October and could use the money, so I have priced this one to sell. At less than half the price of a new 12-pack diesel OP, my boat is the cheapest Coast Guard Certified 12-pack diesel on the market. I do have a 2003 Tri-Axle Trailer that can go with the boat, but is not included for the price listed above. It is custom fit to the boat, and has received new tires, brakes, and bearings this year. I am asking an additional 3,500 for the trailer. |
