TEASER
This freshwater, meticulously maintained, classic Pacemaker 40 MY, stretches to a full 40 feet across her 14' 1 beam. Featuring two very private staterooms, a sumptuous salon, gorgeous mahogany woodwork throughout and a comfortably sheltered aft deck, the Pacemaker 40 provides luxurious accommodations as a live-aboard cruiser. She also received a new set of Crusader engines during 2001 and there are NO window leaks, unlike newer vessels. The Pacemaker had an insurance survey with the vessel being valued at $67,000.00. She is being generously offered for sale at $58,000.00.

DESCRIPTION
The Pacemaker 40 Motor Yacht proved to be a popular boat with mid 1970 motor yacht enthusiasts. She has a traditional flush-deck profile and she?s a comfortable boat inside with enough room for cruisers and liveaboards alike. She has the galley aft in the salon with twin berths in the owner?s stateroom, one single and one double.

NOTE
Here is something unique and money saving for the buyer. This Pacemaker is documented with the US Coast Guard for Charter Trade with operating endorsements coastwise and on the Great Lakes. If the vessel is re-documented for the Charter Trade there is no sales tax required from the buyer.

The other unusual detail about this vessel is the owner purchased the vessel during August 1976 ????.. from his fathers estate. At the time of purchases during August 1976 the vessel had 200 hours.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Enter the cabin from the aft deck via a mahogany hatchway to the portside of the helm. The immense salon features a large convertible sofa, entertainment console and plenty of room for chairs or a table. This Pacemaker has always had a dehumidifier running in her cabin during her summers in the water. You will not find or smell any mold or mildew.

The entire salon features rich mahogany cabinetry and bulkheads, as well as large windows for great natural lighting. Carpet has been updated and wood finishes will be found in excellent condition.

Step forward from the salon to the forward stateroom, with large v-berth, large overhead hatch and hanging locker. There is private access from the v-berth to the forward head compartment, which is set to the starboard side.

Return aft through the salon to enter the spacious master stateroom. The aft stateroom features two twin beds, with a dresser/vanity set between. This traditional arrangement allows for plenty of open floor-space and also includes large, full-length hanging locker, plus an additional dresser. The aft head compartment includes sink, vanity toilet and separate deep shower stall. Attractive, light wall coverings brighten the aft stateroom.

GALLEY
The galley, with abundant countertop area, includes a full-size refrigerator/freezer, deep stainless steel sink and lots of cabinets. The galley is tucked into the starboard aft corner of the salon.

MACHINERY
The owner used the original Crusader engines until the fall of 2000. The original engines had 5,500 hours and still operated as they should. The owner though, was starting to worry about how much longer would they run and where would he be when one of the engines went down. To keep his vessel reliable, the owner had Crusader remanufactured engines installed during the winter of 2000 ? 2001.
