DESCRIPTION
The Silverton 402 is a practical and affordably priced cruising yacht with conservative styling and well arranged interior accommodations. Like all Silverton designs, she?s built on a solid fiberglass modified-V hull with an integrated swim platform and a relatively flat 12 degrees of deadrise at the transom. Her galley down, two stateroom floorplan is arranged with double berths fore and aft and separate stall shower in both heads. A full dinette is opposite the galley on the lower level, and large wraparound cabin windows help create a very open and comfortable salon. Molded steps lead from the aft deck to the swim platform where a storage locker and transom shower are standard. Additional features include a well designed centerline flybridge helm, aft deck wet bar, radar arch, and wide sidedecks.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Step aboard this vessel as I did from the starboard gunnel and then to the aft deck. Instantly you get the feeling of ?oh, this is nice?. The aft deck is roomy with room to stretch out as the seller and I did on my visit. The aft deck has everything needed for entertaining, wet bar, ice maker and a handy storage cupboard for storage of liquid fun. The aft deck ends up being the focal point of the vessel because you can move to all other locations of the vessel from here. The bridge is an easy three molded steps up with a carpeted bridge sole, centerline helm chair and everything within easy reach of the captain. There is bench seating on both port and starboard side of the captain and bench seating across the front of the helm. The bridge seating could handle 6 to 8 adults easy. NOTE. When you look at the pictures of the helm and helm area, that is rain water running down the isinglass not imperfections, remember the vessel is in NY State where it rain, rain, rains. Back down to the aft deck take either gunnel walkway to the bow of the vessel. The gunnel walkways are wide enough for comfortable walking and there are convenient grab rails and side rails to make your forward trip a safe on. On the bow you will find a comfortable sun pad for the days when it?s not raining. Back on the aft deck again you will find a very easy to use door in the stern section of the aft deck leading to the swim deck. You will really like the spiral stairs leading down to the swim deck with their stainless steel hand rails. Once on the bottom you will be standing on the integrated swim platform and then it?s a small step to the extended swim platform which sets just inches from the water.

Back up on the aft deck you will find a sliding door on the port side of the vessel that leads down four steps to the salon sole. The salon colors blend well giving the vessel a bright, homey feeling with lots of natural light from the large windows. The port side of the salon has the built in entertainment center with the starboard side having a large L shaped couch. Move forward in the salon and down three steps to the lower galley dinette area. The galley is to starboard with the combination dinette to port. Move forward again to the V-berth stateroom with starboard side head. The head area is complete with electric head, vanity and stall shower. Back in the salon it?s down three steps again in the port corner to the owners stateroom. The centerline bed is queen size with the port side having a dressing table with an abundance of drawers. On the forward wall is the owners entertainment center with several hanging lockers and cupboards for storage. The starboard side has the owners head with vanity, stall shower and electric head.
